THANKS! I always thought I was a pretty interesting gal so I’m glad you do to :).

If you told high school Lexi she would be writing for fun, she would laugh at you. Yet, here I am at a ripe 21 writing… for fun…

I wanted to get on here because I’ve sent some pretty kick-ass spam text rants to my friends, so kick-ass that I think the general public could benefit from reading them. But, before I dive into my deep thoughts on the meaning of *really* anything or dating advice I am in no way qualified to give, I figured I could let you all know a little bit about me. For real though.

Long story short (when I say this I never mean it), my name is Alexis but no one calls me that. I go by Lexi but my closest friends call me Lex (my favorite nickname). I’m originally from New Jersey, but I go to school in Maryland. No, I don’t know Snooki and Yes, the bagels are better than anywhere else.

I’m 21 and a Communications major. At 18, as most 18 year olds do, I tried to defy my parents and come in as an Kinesiology major, but one failed bio class later I found myself exactly where I should be, studying Public Relations and Advertising. The plan is to turn this into a career in professional sports. I love to run and I run track for my school. Being a college athlete has shaped me in more ways than one, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

I love music, and I REALLY love concerts. I spend the majority of my time making Spotify playlists for anyone who will listen to them. I have one for every semester I’ve been in college, and it’s one of my favorite ways to commemorate my time in school. My favorite artists range from Foo Fighters to Zach Bryan to Kesha, but if you asked me to pick one I couldn’t. More than just listen to songs, I dissect them to their core, and even write some on my own. Maybe I’ll put some out on here?!!

The beach is my favorite place in the world. When I’m at the beach I am my happiest (and tannest) and I seriously soak up every second. Not that the Jersey Shore is a hot bed in the winter, but I will most certainly take the trip down just to see the waves in the snow. If you didn’t get it by now seriously, I LOVE the beach.

My favorite animal is a Shark or a Sloth depending on the day, my favorite food is Quesadillas, and always has been, and I would rather spend my money on iced coffee and clothes then invest it.

I love my friends and I keep them way close. My dad always told me if you have enough good friends to count on one hand, you’re lucky. Lucky me! I could use all 10 fingers and toes to count the amazing people I’ve got in my life!

Lets talk about my family. I love them. Like a lot. We are a crazy group, unhinged even, but they are truly the best. The unwavering support I get from them is something I will never take for granted. Even my dog hops on a FaceTime call every so often.

I could drive forever, always watch a good sunset, and live to make people laugh.

Thats really all you need to know about me, and as we grow together, I’ll let you in on the really cool stuff.
